What is Cryotoning facial?

ryoToning Facial is a targeted CryoToning treatment specifically designed for the face and neck area. The skin covering these areas is thinner than the skin on the rest of the body, and thus signs of aging are the most obvious in these regions. The CryoToning Facial utilizes the application of alternating cold temperature (from the application of the wand) and warming (from the application of the technician’s opposing hand) to increase microcirculation, which in turn increases collagen production and elasticity.

Additionally, the CryoToning Facial assists with stimulating cell turnover, reducing inflammation and puffiness, and brightening the complexion.

This treatment is best used to address wrinkles, fine lines, aging prevention, facial lift/contouring and dullness. The CryoToning Facial treats from the base of the neck up to the forehead.

how it works

The technician applies a set sequence of lifting strokes to the treatment area using the wand and follows each stroke with their opposing hand. This creates an alternation between vasoconstriction and vasodilation, which produces a pumping effect on the blood and lymph, increasing flow.
The application of cold is soothing for any inflammation. The warming from the technician’s hand also produces a relaxing effect.
By contrast to CryoToning on the body, the temperature applied with the CryoToning Facial is always above zero based on the sensitivity of the area.

What to Expect

The only preparation is a clean face, and we have the tools for that! 🙂
The CryoToning Facial is a gentle process of slow strokes along the skin.
The treatment feels like an icy jade roller on steroids. Many clients report it feels like an ice cube moving across the skin without the mess.
The standard CryoToning Facial is about 25 minutes and covers the face from the base of the neck to the top of the forehead. There is an optional 10 minute add-on for more targeted treatment in the areas of the lips, the cheekbone contour, the under eyes, and the forehead.
